Neymar has been linked with a host of top European clubs including Chelsea, Inter Milan and Real Madrid who are ready to wade in with heavy bids in order to secure the teenager’s services.
Neymar recently guided Santos to Copa Libertadores success as his opening goal helped his boyhood club overcome Penarol 2-1 in June’s final.
The 19 year-old is currently away on international duty with the Brazilian national team at the Copa America, but has taken the time to discuss his future by reaffirming that he is not contemplating a move to Europe at this moment and would rather help Santos achieve further success by bagging the World Club Cup come December.
“I want to stay at Santos,” he was quoted as saying by Goal.com.
“I am focused on the national team. I do not know anything about what is happening in Brazil or outside here,” the player said at a press conference.
“I have not talked to my father or my agent. They are handling things, but I do not know anything. My wish is to play the Club World Cup for Santos,” he added.
