The Argentinian International should arive at Everton on monday to complete him year long loan from Valencia.
Valencia paid £15.4m pounds for the Football Manager legend, but he only made 12 appearances before he was loaned out to Athletic Madrid.
At Boca Juniors he was the understudy to Fernando Gago, who himself was also speculated to join Everton. Unfortunately they had a £13.7m offer rejected because Madrid felt he was an important player for them next season.
Banega should be able to give Everton more strength through the midfield, and may join Neville in the defensive midfielder hole. This will allow Fellaini and Cahill to play in a more advanced role, with the task of supporting either Saha or Jo up front.
Moyes is also set to add another defender to his ranks, with one or two of Senderos and Robert Huth looking favorites to sign, depending on the Lescott situation.
