Cristiano Misses A Sitter…
He may have scored 152 goals in 152 appearances for Real Madrid, but that doesnt mean that Cristiano Ronaldo is immune from missing absolute sitters…
A shocking miss from the C-Ron in monday night’s match away at Rayo Vallecano, although he did get on the scoresheet minutes before from the spot and Madrid picked up the three points.
I’d still count this miss vs Sheffield United as worse though…

Real Madrid unveiled their new home strip for the 2012/2013 season with a great video portraying the unity between fan, player and kit.
Of course the Spanish champions have opted to keep the infamous all-white style but this time have incorporated a dash of black seams to give the strip more dimension.
Goalkeeper Iker Casillas’ jersey remains largely unchanged and the away kit looks fab too. Well, its better than Barcelona’s sherbet-coloured crap!

In a sensational night in the Spanish capital it was Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer who was the hero as he saved twice from Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka in a thrillingly tense penalty shootout.
It all left Bayern midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger the honor and planting home the decisive spotkick to send Los Blancos crashing out ... Continue Reading →
They Played for Penalties, and Penalties Were What We Got
As soon as Bayern Munich had scored the penalty which got them back into the game at 2-1, the air flew right out the tires. Both teams became ultra conservative and played in fear of losing the match.
There was no determination, no moment of sheer brilliance that couldn’t be denied. No, we were treated to over an hour of dull monotonous play with sideways passes around half line and not much creativity.
One moment summed up the whole evening for me.
With 115 minutes played, Real Madrid’s ... Continue Reading →
