Two weeks is a very long time in football. Being a die-hard Ipswich Town fan, I got the train to Bristol on the first day of the season. After a summer with no football, the expectation and excitement of the new campaign kicking off was at an all time high. I was watching Soccer AM yesterday (the essential start to your Saturday of football) and they showed a clip of Hull City’s Jimmy Bullard filming for Sky Sports profile shots. Was just having a look at Jozy Altidore’s Twitter page and found out he reads In The Stands, oh and it looks like he is joining Hull. (This may or may not be a doctored screenshot of Altidore’s Twitter page) USA striker Altidore currently plays for Villarreal and had a good Confederations Cup campaign which caught the eye of many teams.
