In Awe of David Moyes

Year after year Everton defy the odds with a team thin on the ground. But now they seem to have a side that is strong and settled. Can this be the year that David Moyes and the Toffees finally win the silverware they truly desire.  Starting from the back and based on last year’s record Everton had the third best defence in the division. Their defensive unit – for the most part has remained consistent with Howard in goal, Baines left, Neville or Hibert right and Distan, Jagielka or Heitinga ... Continue Reading →

BS of the day – Phil Neville to Spurs

The Merseyside club have only picked up two points in five games this term which sees them sit an unhealthy 18th ... Continue Reading →

Mancini and Moyes skirmish…

Last night Man City gaffer Roberto Mancini and Everton boss David Moyes squared up after the latter tried to waste a little time as his side were 2-0 up at Eastlands… Now its pretty obvious that Mancini is far too good looking a man to do any real damage to Moyes, but he was the one who attacked Moyes. Mancini probably saw fourth place and his job slipping away from him and had a little hissy fit over it. Funnily enough both were sent to the stands even though Moyes didn’t appear to ... Banega granted permit

The Argentinian International should arive at Everton on monday to complete him year long loan from Valencia. Valencia paid £15.4m pounds for the Football Manager legend, but he only made 12 appearances before he was loaned out to Athletic Madrid. At Boca Juniors he was the understudy to Fernando Gago, who himself was also speculated to join Everton. Unfortunately they had a £13.7m offer rejected because Madrid felt he was an important player for them next season. Banega should be able to give ... Continue Reading →
