Spanish champions Barcelona got back to winning ways after a superb 4-0 win over Rayo Vallecano at the Camp Nou with Alexis Sanchez the star of the show.

The young Chilean forward bagged a brace and further goals from David Villa and another sublime run-come-finish by Lionel Messi sealed a fine 4-0 win for La Blaugrana.

After the match Barca coach Pep Guardiola saluted Rayo Vallecano’s bravery but surely will be gradually turning his eyes towards this season’s first ‘El Clasico’ at the Santiago Bernabeu on 10, December.
