Video: Andre Villas-Boas First Interview as Chelsea Manager

Andre Villas-Boas gave his first public interview as Chelsea manager as he spelled out his hopes, aims and visions whilst at the helm.

Amongst many other things, the new Blues boss reiterated that new signings are firmly on the agenda once things have settled down at the club, and also insisted that midfielder Michael Essien will be staying put.

Nicknamed ‘AVB’, the Portuguese man further dismissed claims that he is ‘the Special One’ – a term coined by his former boss Jose Mourinho, before thanking owner Roman Abramovich for providing him with the opportunity to leave a legacy at SW9.
