Serie A Round-Up: Catania 2-1 Inter Milan; AC Milan Thump Palermo 3-0

Both Milan sides were in action on Saturday night with very differing results as Claudio Ranieri’s Inter Milan side lost 2-1 to Catania whilst champions AC Milan grabbed a resounding 3-0 win over Palermo.

With League leaders Juventus not in action until Sunday night the Milanese giants both had the opportunity to put their disappointing starts to the season behind them as they seek to climb up table. Inter Milan failed to do just that as they slumped to a 2-1 defeat at Catania.

City neighbours AC Milan had no such trouble with goals by Nocerino, Robinho and Antonio Cassano proving decisive in a 3-0 rout at the San Siro.
