Wantaway Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero wants to sign for city rivals Real Madrid next season according to club team-mate Tomas Ujfalusi.
Aguero announced on his official website his desire to leave Atletico Madrid at the start of the week with a host of potential suitors poised to offer the young Argentinian star a lucrative contract.
Nevertheless, in light of this, Rojiblancos defender Tomas Ujfalusi has revealed that the 22 year-old’s desire to leave the Vicente Calderon is motivated by a wish to play for none other than Real Madrid.
Speaking to Radio Sportiva on Wednesday, the Czech defender said, “for three or four months we have known he (Aguero) wanted to go. What is clear is that he has chosen to go to Real Madrid”.
Aguero, nicknamed ‘Kun’ has since asked for the club to respect his desire to call time at the Vicente Calderon where he won the Europa League last season having signed from Independiente in 2006.
The news will come as a blow to the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool who all harboured ambitions of signing the Argentine who incidentally, is Atletico’s top goalscorer this season with 26 goals.
