Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri has threatened to leave the club on a Bosman at the end of the upcoming season after reportedly telling team-mates that he most certainly will not be signing a new contract with the Gunners.

The Frenchman’s future has been the subject of much debate in recent weeks with Manchester United and Manchester City being particularly keen to prise Arsenal’s creative midfielder away from North London.
In an attempt to ward off the growing interest from their Premier League rivals, the Gunners have offered an unsettled Nasri £115,000-a-week, although it is believed that the former Marseille ace is ready to snub the offer as he seeks to force a move to Eastlands.

Nasri joined Arsenal in 2008 but has yet to win a single trophy as the six-year trophy drought continues. The Sun are reporting that a frustrated Nasri has told his team-mates that he is willing to see out the remainder of his contract before walking out on a free at the end of this season.
When asked if Nasri’s future has been sorted, coach Arsene Wenger was hopeful of keeping the 23-year-old but admitted that more clear-the-air talks are needed.
“Not completely but I want him to stay. He knows that,” Wenger admitted. “Hopefully we can sort that out in the coming weeks,” he added.
