AC Milan continued their title charge after bagging a 3-2 win over AS Roma at the Stadio Olimpico in a Serie A thriller.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic gave Milan the lead before Nicolas Burdisso headed Roma level. Any hopes of a stirring comeback were swiftly dashed however minutes later when Alessandro Nesta himself headed the Rossoneri back in front.
Ibrahimovic looked to have made the points safe when he nodded home the third but Borjan Krkic’s late strike set up a nervy finish.
The win sent Massimo Allegri’s men into second place on 17 points, two behind leaders Juventus who beat Inter Milan 2-1 at the San Siro.
