Thanks to the guys over at Sports Direct, who handed over a pair of Nike CTR360 Maestri II football boots. I’ve finally had a chance to see what the fuss is about…

First things first, these boots are bright, so wearing them clean WILL make you look like an A class ‘bellend’. If you can’t hit a barn door you’re best off not drawing any more attention to yourself and buying the more subtle black pair!
That said these boots are damn comfy, even from first use they were easily the most comfortable boots I’ve ever worn and comfortable isn’t a word I would usually associate with football boots. The Kanga-Lite material feels pretty strong and not too heavy either.
This boot comes with dampening pods on the front to aid control, curl plates on the side and a further control pad close to the heal. The novelty of these has warn off already!
These days it really doesn’t matter how Nike market their boots – claiming that Cesc Fabregas wears them will make these boots sell like hot cakes. I’m sure he’s down at Sports Direct every week looking at what boots to buy!
I would recommend the Nike CTR360 Maestri II football boots to everyone. At £95 they are out of many people’s budget (unless of course you looted em last week) but I guess the old saying of ‘you get what you pay for’ is true here.
