Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini wants Carlos Tevez out of Manchester City as soon as possible!
The City boss is rumoured to be frustrated with the Argentine’s flirtation with the Eastlands exit door and has demanded that Tevez be sold in order to prepare for the upcoming season.
Tevez was instrumental to City’s success last season as the club finished with automatic Champions League football and the FA Cup to boot.
But having admitted he is currently unsettled in Manchester, a fed-up Tevez has spoken regularly of his desire to return to his homeland. In light of this, Mancini is now ready to cash in on his star striker.
Mancini has reportedly told City owners to sanction a move although other top European clubs will find it difficult to match the FA Cup holders’ £50 million valuation.
On Tuesday Tevez issued an official statement explaining his decision to quit Eastlands. The statement read:
“It is with great regret that I have to inform Manchester City of my wish to leave the club. I would like to state that I have great respect for the club, its supporters and the owner Sheikh Mansour, who has been nothing other than respectful to me.
“I hope that the people understand the difficult circumstances I have been living under for the past 12 months, in regards to my family.
“Living without my children in Manchester has been incredibly challenging for me.
“Everything I do, I do for my daughters, Katie and Florencia. I need to be closer to them and to spend more time with them. I need them to be happy because my life is about them now.”
Anybody fancy Tevez for £50 million?!
