Speaking ahead of his sides UEFA Champions League second-leg clash quarter-final clash with holders Barcelona, AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic singled out his opposition counterpart Lionel Messi as more gifted than Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo.
“Leo Messi is all talent, while Cristiano Ronaldo is the product of much training,” the Swede told TV3 before going on to suggest that although an outstanding player, the thought that ‘Leo’s’ game can be further improved terrifies him.
“Messi does not need his right foot,” ‘Ibra’ stated.
“He only uses the left and he’s still the best in the world! Imagine if he also used his right foot … Then we [Milan] would have serious problems!” he added.
Ibrahimovic played alongside Messi during his season-long stay at the Camp Nou in 2009/2010.
