Isn’t Wayne Rooney’s Arrested Father Ugly?!

Following the news that Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney’s father was arrested on Thursday in connection with an alleged football betting scam, we at In The Stands have brought out our devilish side!

‘Wayne Rooney senior’ was arrested at his place of residence in the West Derby area of Merseyside on Thursday afternoon to a flurry of speculation concerning a betting scam.

He has since been bailed with further police investigations to come. Of course English law stipulates that one is innocent until proven guilty, so barring all the legal claptrap, lets just cut to the chase…my goodness, isn’t Wayne Rooney’s father ugly?!

Geez, if Rooney Junior is ‘Shrek’, what moniker can one coin for his paps? Ah that’s it; he looks like a cross between Eastenders hardman Phil Mitchell and UFC hardman Brock Lesnar! Call him Phil ‘Rooney’ Lesnar. Of course we couldn’t say that to his face!

For the record Wayne Rooney’s 54-year-old uncle Ritchie was also detained by police.
