The FA have charged Chelsea FC with failure to control their players in the wake of their 1-0 defeat to Queens Park Rangers on Sunday
In a bad-tempered South-West London derby at Loftus Road, Chelsea had Jose Bosingwa and Didier Drogba sent off for straight red cards whilst a further seven Chelsea players were booked by referee Chris Foy.
After the match Blues coach Andre Villas-Boas slammed Chris Foy and his assistants for their performance as his side slumped to their second Premier League defeat of the season.
AVB’s outburst has also landed him in hot water with the FA now demanding an explanation to his post-match outburst.
Elsewhere the Metropolitan Police are looking into allegations that Chelsea captain John Terry racially abused QPR defender Anton Ferdinand.
