Cesc Fabregas: I am Off to Barcelona
Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas has told his Arsenal team-mates that he will never play for the Gunners again and is close to finalizing his move to Barcelona.
The midfield maestro has been a long-term target for the Spanish giants with Barca coach Pep Guardiola identifying the number 4 as the natural successor to Xavi.
The European champions recently had a £31.6 million bid for Fabregas turned down by the Gunners although the North London clubs’ stubbornness is set to be punctured after the 24 year-old made his intention to leave the Emirates Stadium crystal clear to team-mates ahead of pre-season training.
Fabregas is reportedly desperate for a concrete deal to go through before Arsenal go on their tour of Malaysia and China respectively.
