Blackburn Rovers have been hit with a massive blow on the injury front after defender Scott Dann was ruled out for six weeks after rupturing his testicles.

Dann sustained the freak groin injury during Saturday’s 2-1 defeat to West Bromwich Albion at Ewood Park which left Blackburn second bottom in the table after 16 games.
The news comes as the pressure continues to mount on under-fire boss Steve Kean who could not hide his disappointment following news of Dann’s injury.
“Scott Dann has come in and played so well to replace Phil Jones, but in our last match he was hurt and it now transpires he will be out for six weeks with a ruptured testicle,” he told ESPN.
