AC Milan produced a marvelous display as Massimo Allegri’s men trounced Catania 4-0 at the San Siro to keep up their Serie A charge.
Goals by Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Robinho, an own goal by Catania defender Francesco Lodi and a Gianluca Zambrotta strike proved decisive as he reigning champions’ fifth consec climbed to third in the table on 20 points, one behind leading duo Lazio and Udinese.
Elsewhere Lazio overcame Parma at the Stadio Olimpico whilst league leaders Udinese grabbed a hard fought 2-1 win over Siena with Juventus’ match at Napoli being postponed.
