i dont think you can blame shawcross, they were both going for a loose ball.

banning a player for the time hes out is very wrong in this situation, i could completely agree if it was similar to guthries lash out of fagan, but it wasnt.

Sorry Alfie Munday and other Aresenal fans. You are as guilty as Arsene Wenger in getting caught up in the after match emotion following the horrific injury to Aaron Ramsey. I was at the match and had the misfortune to see the incident close at hand. It was a pure accident involving a slightly mistimed tackle, the sort seen regularly in matches all over the the football world. To suggest otherwise is totally unacceptable as are the comments of Arsene Wenger. The young Stoke City player involved Ryan Shawcross was clearly devastated by the accident and clearly in need of support. The FA should look at his allegations closely. Meanwhile all decent football fans wish Aaron Ramsey a speedy and full recovery and Ryan Shawcross a long and distinguished career for his club and country.
