If Carlsberg made adverts, they’d probably be the best in the world… Well they have given it a go and it certainly lives up to that standard…

English stars across all sports have turned up for this advert along with a couple of FA boys; Trevor Brooking, Stuart Pearce, Jack Charlton, Steve Redgrave, Kelly Holmes and Phil Taylor amongst the recognisable faces in the advert.
This advert is brilliant because of those in it and also the music. Kasabian appear in the crowd egging the team on and their track Underdog is perfect for the nature of the advert.
Throw in a topless Jeff Stelling with the flag of St George painted on him and Tuuuuuuuubes, and you have a perfect advert. If it fails to get you psyched up for the World Cup, I guess football isn’t for you…
This weeks advert is for S1 sports shin pads. It is not a very well known company or advert for that matter but once you see it, you will understand why this has been posted…
England international and current Chelsea Player-Manager Casey Stoney is the star of this rather raunchy advert for shin pads. Apparently there a few other women internationals in the bath also but my knowledge of women’s football is rather limited to the point where I know that Kelly Smith is actually awesome and that is about it.
However after seeing this advert and the picture of Casey below, I might start taking more of an interest in the players the sport…

I know you have all seen this advert and are all thinking what the devil am I doing posting this on here. Well for those of you who haven’t seen it, here it is…
Ok if you believe that I have just wasted a minute of your life, I apologise. But I truly feel that the utter shameless cheesiness of this advert is unbelievable and makes it brilliant. Add the amazing Louise Redknapp and then Sky Sports latest pundit Jamie and you have a very good looking pair in beautiful surroundings.
Still don’t agree with me? Well you might appreciate this version by those piss takers over at Talksport more…
Yet another advert hot off the Nike production line and this one has Cesc Fabregas advertising the new CTR360 Maestri boots.
It’s genius in my opinion as it shows Cesc being the midfield maestro that he is, but in a Bond Villain-esque way. The boots are apparently not bad either as my captain (and centre half) has said that he’s tempted to get rid of all his shoes and just wear these boots, as they are the most comfortable shoes he’s had.
£120 on a pair of football boots is just a dream for me…
This advert is probably the best and the most famous football advert for those of you who have been Sky Sports fans since it was created. Sheffield United fan Sean Bean fronts this fantastic advert…
Life
It can be difficult
You know that
We all need someone to rely on
Someone who’s going to be there
Someone who’s going to make you feel like you belong
Someone constant
It’s ectasy, anguish, joy and despair
Part of our history
Part of our country
And it will be part of our future
It’s theatre, art, war and love
It should be predictable … but never is
It’s a feeling that can’t be explained but we spend our lives explaining it
It’s our religion
We do not apologise for it
We do not deny it
They’re our team, our family and our life.
Football
We know how you feel about it
‘Cos we feel the same
This year Sky released a double header of football adverts for us to ponder our subscription over. One had the “special one” Jose Mourinho and the second was an attempt at remaking the glorious Sean Bean advert of 97…
The first one is Sky’s attempt to resurrect the “we know how you feel about it, cos we feel the same” campaign. Personally I really like it, a bit of identifying with their public always goes down well.
The second is Mr Mourinho making an appearance on our tele’s despite him being Inter boss. A few slow-mos, some great music and showing passion from players and fans alike make this one my favourite of the year…
ESPN are enjoying their first year in broadcasting the Premier League in Britain and this tidy little advert is what we have been seeing on our screens recently trying to get us to sign up…
Personally I like it a lot. Showing the passion of the game is always a good thing, however it’s got a strong whiff of Sean Bean’s Sky Advert of 97.
If you don’t have a subscription to ESPN, it is well worth getting as their football coverage isn’t half bad and they have some cracking panellists like Kevin Keegan and Guus Hiddink.
Not a bad attempt at an advert though…
Hot off the conveyor belt of cracking adverts by Nike, Patrice Evra has got his very own one and in cartoon form. It is a very very cool advert…
My only objection is that playing for Manchester comes lower than playing for France. Lies I tell you, lies…
Yet another brilliant advert from Nike that we have to show you this week, they should really pay us for this. This weeks is the Portugal vs Brazil Ole advert, which includes brilliant skill, funny moments, the obvious Eric Cantona cameo and a great tackle by the ref. I love how they all look battered at the end and what a soundtrack…
If you follow our Best Football Advert Ever posts you will notice that we are always featuring Nike adverts. Well that is because they seem to be the only company consistently coming out with great adverts for us to watch. This weeks advert is the brand spanking new ‘Make the Difference’ featuring the brilliant Andrei Arshavin…
Simple and yet brilliant, other manufacturers take note…
One of my personal favourites, Budweiser mocking the American’s as they promote themselves as the official Premier League beer. Although I think monster trucks at half time and added time multi ball aren’t that bad an idea…
