The win was a perfect response for Antonio Conte’s men who had albeit temporarily fallen 7 points behind leaders AC Milan after the Rossoneri grabbed a 2-1 win over Roma at the San Siro on Saturday courtesy of a late goal by Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The big swede fired home the winner in the 83rd minute having also shot the hosts level in the 53rd minute after Pablo Osvaldo had given Roma the lead.

The win means Massimo Allegri’s men are still clear favourites to retain their Serie A crown with just nine games left.
