Ferenc Puskás who is he? I hear most of you ask. Here is a picture

Still no clue? Let me tell you about him then.
Ferenc Puskás is widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers of all time, he was a Hungarian footballer and manager.
He was a key member and captain of the Hungarian “Golden Team” of the 1950′s which went 33 games unbeaten. His record for his national team was an astonishing 83 goals in 84 goals, a brace in either game against England when they met in 1953 and 1954. It was the first time England were defeated by a foreign team at Wembley, by the Hungarians 6-3, and losing the away leg 7-1. Sir Bobby Charlton on the death of Puskas had this to say, “He revolutionised the game in this country. From there English football started to think more professionally.”
In this series of posts, I will show you some events in football that I believe you should never forget.
Starting us off is Tony Popovic’s own goal for Crystal Palace.
This was during Palace’s last stint in the Premiership, and it was one of the best own goals I have ever seen. That is why you should never forget it……
