Where will Joe Cole go?..well Liverpool

Joey has finally made his mind up, signing a four year deal with Liverpool.

June 27, 2010 - Bloemfontein, South Africa - epa02226624 England's Steven Gerrard (L), Joe Cole (C) and John Terry (R) show their dejection after the FIFA World Cup 2010 Round of 16 match between Germany and England at the Free State stadium in Bloemfontein, South Africa, 27 June 2010. Germany won 4-1 and advanced to the quarter final.

The deal is belived to be worth 90k a week and it has been widely slated that this was the key reason for Cole uprooting from London to move up north. Joey will look to be a key part of the Liverpool rebuilding procedure, and fans will hope that he will play in a midfield still boasting Gerrard and Mascherano.

Personally, I see Cole as a direct replacement for Gerrard who may look to move abroad due to constant bad publicity from our British press. I’m sure the majority of these stories are un true but I’m sure they take their toll nonetheless.

This procedure will look increasingly likely if high calibre players such as Marcherano and Torres leave in the summer. The combination will result in Stevie-G wearing a Real Madrid shirt next season.

I think it’s time that English players started moving abroad, to Improve their game and also to keep away from the constant bombardment of the Sun, The Star and the bloody Daily Mail. As always, Tell me What you think?
