It has been a good week for Arsenal fans with the Gunners moving to the top of the Premier League albeit only for a few days. Lets find out what our LadyArse has to say about it…

Had you just landed from another planet, you would be forgiven for not realising that Arsenal played two very physical, hard-fought matches, home and away, against a Bolton side which can only be call ‘thuggish’ on a good day in the past week as well as an FA Cup tie.

You would be forgiven for not realising that Arsenal had went to the top of the table, albeit for only a few days, and you certainly would not be aware of the fact that not only did Arsenal score six goals while being kicked for 180 minutes, they also continue on their quest to become the first team to score 100 goals or more in a Premier League season.

No doubt, all you’ve been made aware off is the fact that Gallas committed a foul and Arsenal crashed out of the FA Cup, neither of which I really give a fuck about.

Was it a shock to lose to Stoke? Urrm no. A shock or an upset is what happens when Man U lose to Leeds, or Liverpool lose to Reading. Losing to a team from mid-table in the Premier League with a second string team does not an upset make.

So it’s a disaster is it? In this season where a number of people said we would fail to make the top 8, most said we wouldn’t make the top four, our season has just been a nightmare! Second in the league, with a game in hand, and still in the Champions League. I can name you 17 other teams who would give their left nut to be in such an awful position.

Get perspective. Now get over it. We’ve got Villa to face.

Stoke were the better team, our mish-mash of players just didn’t work, and Flappianski failed to show us why he should be considered any better than the Spanish Waiter. In fact, I think he went out of his way to show us why he’s worse.

Campbell’s debut was impressive and possibly the only highlight in an otherwise miserable performance. I haven’t listened to what Wenger has had to say, but I have a funny feeling he isn’t really going to be that bothered himself.

It is an incredibly short blog this week, mainly because I’ve got a migraine coming on an I can’t make words come out of my head. On top of that, I’ve been moving my main LadyArse blog from OleOle.com to LadyArse.com and what little brain capacity I have left is trying to figure that all out.
