The World Cup draw is favourable to England…

England have landed the plum draw for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

England have been drawn against the USA, Slovenia and Algeria in which is arguably the easiest group in the competition.

Brazil have been placed in the group of death, with Portugal, Ivory Coast and South Korea. Winning this group is all important, as the runner-up will probably play Spain in the Second Round whereas the winner faces a much easier tie.

Assuming England win their group, a tie against Serbia or Ghana awaits, followed by probably France in the Quarters and potentially Brazil in the Semis.

Overall, it’s a brilliant draw for England, maybe this is the year!!!
