Serie A Review
The highlight of this weekend’s fixtures was the match at the Olimpico in Turin between Juventus and Napoli. After numerous quality acquisitions over the Summer for Napoli, they had been expecting a good start to the season. However, after a less than impressive start, Roberto Donadoni was sacked and Walter Mazzarri brought in to try and settle the ship. Four games later, they will be hoping to continue their push up the table with a victory against Juventus.

Round-Up
In a game that had everything, Juventus’ title hopes were dashed once again, as they went down 3-2 to Napoli. A brace from the in-form Marek Hamsik after Juventus had been 2-0 up aided them to a brilliant victory. Amauri was also sent off late on for accidently kicking the Napoli goalkeeper.
Milan continued their revival with a 2-0 victory over Parma. A brilliant team play led to their first goal finished by Marco Borriello. He then added a second in stoppage time to secure the win. A brace was the word of the weekend in Italy as not only did Borriello and Hamsik bag two, but Nene for Cagliari and Marco Marchionni for Roma also each netted two.
Inter Milan continued their great league form with victory over Livorno. Goals from Milito and Maicon won the day for the league champions as they went seven points clear.

mate amauri kicking the keeper was no accident
touche sir, clearly it wasnt accidental and thus, i wont be listening to calcio italia anymore.
However i am curious as to which official saw that and decided it was a red card. Im pretty sure the refs view is blocked and its only a little kick so as a linesman, i wouldnt ave seen that.
but ye, it would appear that amauri is a dick!
i’m not sure which is weaker – the actual kick or the goalie’s acting job
