“If only I could play for Thailand”

Guardian has brought it to my attention that the Football Association of Thailand (FAT) have signed a 3 year sponsorship deal with McDonald’s, worth an estimated £545,000.

But thats not the best bit, as part of the deal the Thailand football team gets free big mac’s, McFlurrys, and Mc Chicken-ish stuff. Yippie!

But hang on…call me old fashioned but I thought McDonald’s was bad for you! I’ve seen Super-size me, I have read about fat Americans suing the company for giving them coronary heat disease, and I have experienced the Macca D’s toilet dash, which usually occurs 2 to 3 hours after consuming a Big Mac.

I can understand the Ronald McDonald’s money will help fund Thai football but i’m concerned for new Manager Bryan Robson. It’s gonna be like Thaler and McGhee trying to keep Nicky Sixx off the free smack, as not even the healthiest of us can turn down free stuff.

Looks like it will be gym 5 times a week for the Thailand boys.
