Boring boring Chelsea beaten again…

Whilst we don’t normally comment on individual matches here on In The Stands, I cannot hide my delight at Chelsea’s loss in the early kick off today. They were beaten 2-1 by Aston Villa despite taking the lead through Didier Drogba. The signings of Dunne and Collins again proving themselves to be well worth their money, as the pair notched a goal each at corners for the Villains.

So far this season Chelsea have gone back to the boring efficient play last seen under Mr Mourinho and as a Man Yoo fan I’m delighted that the Blues are beatable. I was starting to think Ancelotti might bring the title to Stamford Bridge this year especially after their win over Liverpool, but I fear no more. 2 losses in the last 3 league matches = absolute delight.

Title #19 heading to Old Trafford? Looks like it at the moment…
