Chief Exec. & Technical Director take paycut to sign Franco…
West Ham’s chief executive and technical director have reportedly taken substantial wage cuts in order to pay for the wages of Mexican striker Guillermo Franco.
The Hammers are financially knee deep in dog shit and in order to sign the Mexican, the pair took pay cuts to keep the wage structure within budget.
Zola must be thankful for understanding executives as he has a small squad and desperately needed the extra striker following a poor start to the season. I wonder how many other executives at other clubs would have done the same?..
