A solid performance from Real here. Obviously their defence looked as easy to break in as Jordan, but ultimately their clean sheet will go some way to silence their critics. Ronaldo started on the bench and had an ineffective 30 minutes on the pitch. Family pressure however, meant I had to turn over at the start of injury time and I missed a brilliantly taken goal by the greasy superstar. 2 in 2 games isn’t bad but I still think he is struggling to find form which is only being made worse by Kaka looking like the coolest thing since sliced bread covered in cocaine and being handed out free by lingerie models juggling fireworks.

Getafe C.F 0 – 2 Barcelona
Guardiola’s tactics of fielding the cast of Bugsy Malone whilst leaving Messi, Henry and Iniesta on the bench often confuses me. Getafe had the better chances in the first half and could have easily been a few up were it not for those pesky goalposts. Messi and Iniesta came on in the second half and Ibrahimovic lit up in their presence. The big Swede bagged a goal and beautifully set up Messi for the second. Ibra is looking a class buy and Barca look absolutely clinical. Bring on Inter Milan on Wednesday.
