Tevez = £47million???
According to The Times, Carlos Tevez, formally of West Ham United and Manchester United, cost Manchester City £47million!

The £25 million originally quoted would appear to be a lie as City have to pay £15 million now, and two more payments of £16million each in the near future. This would make Tevez the fifth most expensive player in history and easily the most costly buy in the premiership. There is also an additional clause of £3.5 million if City win the Champions league while Tevez remains playing for them. Unlikely as that is, £50.5 million is ridiculous.
The big question that arises from this is, where is this money going? Tevez was not officially at a club so it goes to his ‘owners’. Apparently the money will be sent to two off-shore accounts but how it gets to its beneficiaries, we do not know. Kia Joorabchian, head of a consortium which owned the player until Manchester City attained ownership, has never let on where the money goes.
An extra thing to add; Tevez is also being paid £145,000 a week and is on a five year contract so with the transfer fee, will cost City £84.5 million.
Anyone else think that is ridiculous for a striker who is still yet to live up to his Football Manager legend status.
