Benitez is a liar… fact?
Ryan Babel has accused Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez of going back on promises, which could cost him his place in the Dutch world cup team.
Babel is upset at what he feels is singling out following Liverpool’s loss to Tottenham on the opening day of the season and now he wants a loan move back to Ajax. The fact that he was initially left out of the Netherlands team for the matches against Japan and Scotland has left alarm bell ringing for the Dutchman.
Babel told The Sun: “There were all sorts of assurances and promises from the club but they have not kept them. I should get more playing time but after the first defeat of the season I was the only one who was singled out – and I lost my place.”
“Being left out was a real shock and very worrying. I didn’t expect not to be named, I’d already booked my ticket! We will have to review the situation again in January. But I think half a season back at Ajax, with a World Cup coming up next summer, wouldn’t be a bad option at all.”
The way I see it is Rafa doesn’t like Babel, he never has and now after this outburst I can see more than just a loan signing for the Dutchman in January. And to think he could have joined Arsenal instead of Liverpool, plonker…
(For those of you wondering why I wrote an article about quite a mundane subject (Liverpool) I just wanted to have a dig at Rafa and his facts, and show you the lyrical prowess of Ryan Babel or should I say Rio…
