Following Mark’s Ugly XI the missus asked if she could do a beautiful XI. I was somewhat reluctant at first but was curious to see what she would pick, so here are her choices…
She went for a 3-5-2 formation with just the 5 subs.
Goalkeeper – Iker Casillas
Defence – Micah Richards, Fabio Cannavaro, Phil Jagielka
Midfield – David Bentley, David Beckham, Jamie Redknapp, Fredrik Ljungberg, Ryan Giggs
Strikers – Fernando Torres, Thierry Henry
Manager – Pep Guardiola, Assistant Manager – Jose Mourinho
Subs Bench – Victor Valdez, Florent Malouda, Federico Maceda, Frank Lampard, Roque Santa Cruz
After compiling the list she looked quite pleased with herself, I was quite worried with myself…
