9 Days and out… and back again

The shambles at Cambridge United continue, after finishing second in the conference last year and reaching the play off finals, Boss Gary Brabin was sacked due to differences in opinion with the board.

Of course this cause huge upset with the fans! After speculation that Brabin may be asked back to the club, Martin Ling was appointed manager.

Rumour has it, four candidates were interviewed for the job and told they had it, only later to receive a text saying sorry but unfortunately you don’t have a job.

Due to irreparable differences with the board, Ling then left after only 9 days, as you can imagine, this caused uproar.

As a result, the chairman stepped down and Martin Ling was re-appointed. Let’s hope they sort this mess out and again fight for the title.
