Since beating Germany in the 1966 World Cup final in England, revenge has been taken upon us on four occasions;

1)In the quarter-final of the World Cup 1970 (2-3 after extra-time)

2)In the semi-final of the 1990 competition (on penalties)

3) In Euro 96 (again on penalties).

4)We may have  beaten Germany at a poor Euro 2000 in between, but a win for Germany in October 2000, in the last ever match at Wembley, quickly corrected this.

With all this in mind, a 5-1 victory at Germany tasted really, really good. Need I ramble on anymore as here comes the highlights.
