Adebayor wins the fight to snap up Rons old pad…
Emmanuel Adebayor beat competition from Man Utd’s Antonio Valencia and fellow Man City players Gareth Barry, Kolo Toure and Carlos Tevez to land Cristiano Ronaldo’s old house in Alderley Edge for £5.5 million.
No doubt those who lost out will be gutted as the mansion dubbed “Gold Trafford” included an indoor pool, jacuzzi, gym and cinema room. It was bought by Cristiano Ronaldo for just £3.85 million and he has sold it for a massive £1.65million profit.
The real question is will Adebayor be enjoying special parties like Ronaldo used to? With the money he earns now I can’t see any reason why not, ask the chairman to fork up for it and its an excuse for team bonding…

It’s £5m for the house. The rest goes on the cleaning bill.
