Manchester City’s players met with Nelson Mandela at his childre children’s fund HQ in Johannesburg to wish him a happy belated birthday.

During the visit, City players sang happy birthday to the former president, stood for pictures and gave him his own shirt in what was a great PR exercise for the club.

As Mandela was being introduced to each of the players he said to 25-year-old Robinho “You are a baby! What are you doing here?” in reference to his youthful looks. Everyone in the room laughed as did we here at In The Stands, sharp as a thumb tack at the age of 91.

All we have to say on the matter is newly married Robinho … you got owned!
