Villarreal win another friendly … only 10-0 this time

Villarreal continue to make there pre-season about bullying minnows with a 10-0 win over Vilamalla.
I’m not sure who is in charge of booking Villarreal’s pre-season friendlies but it looks to me that they have just asked teams from small regional leagues to play them. Last night they played two separate line ups which both made easy work of there opponents. It is worth pointing out that Vilamalla lost 11-1 and 10-0 during the season to A. E. Girona Femeni so Villarreal’s the victory is not as impressive as first thought.
I wonder if Villarreal will be able to beat the French Champions Bordeaux or Italian giants Juventus in their upcoming friendlies by a similar score… You never know?
A quick mention about Villarreal’s website. They have the league table posted on it and with the season not started yet, they would normally find themselves at the bottom. However, to silence any Villarreal fans calling for the resignation of the manager they have inverted the table, how delightfully pointless. I wonder if Recreativo de Huelva (finished bottom last year) have done that on their site and claimed that they won La Liga?…
